Lindsay Barrett

Mr Barrett is one of the finest Jazz critics of all time. He was editor-at-large of Africa Music in the 1980’s, but he still has a fantastic archive of jazz albums that range from Duke Ellington to Miles Davis before migrating to Africa to delve into the music of Fela, Dudu Pukwana and Hugh Masakela of South Africa as well as Camerouns’ Manu Dibango.

Lindsay is set to continue with his old role for the digital edition of Africa Music.

Dr Eddie Iroh

The former Director General of Radio Nigeria is not only a prolific writer but an author of four books including his war trilogy that included 48 Guns for the General.

Eddie who also wrote many thought provoking opinion articles for the magazine will continue with Africa Music which he helped to raise its profile in the eighties.

Chief Tony Amadi

Tony will be serializing his book on The History of Pop Music in Nigeria as well as report the major musical concerts and interviews of leading musicians across the African continent. He will also continue as the Publisher of the magazine.

Bennett Obiora

Ben will be working as a Reporter-Researcher and will cover the music circuit not only in Abuja but across the country.

Emmanuel Agbachi
